Community Council Map Interpretations.
Pursuant to AMC 2.40.090 the community council maps shall be interpreted
as follows:
-
A community council district boundary line on
the map that follows a street, highway or railroad or the meanderings
of a river or creek on the map shall be interpreted as following
the centerline of the street, highway, railroad, river, or creek.
- A community council district boundary line on the map that follows
a property line or section line on the map shall be interpreted
as falling on that property or section line as it existed on the
day of July 22, 3003.
- A community council district boundary line on the map that follows
the boundary of a public land or facility that is shaded on the
map shall be interpreted as falling on the boundary of that public
land or facility.
- Where a community council district boundary line on the map
does not follow a road, stream, property boundary, or section
line, and instead follows some other prominent physical feature
such as a ridgeline between watershed valleys, the community council
district boundary shall be interpreted as falling on the feature
that is labeled alongside the boundary line.
- The boundary of a community council that abuts, adjoins or is
adjacent to either Turnagain Arm or Knik Arm of Cook Inlet extends
seaward to mean low or lower water.

The maps were taken from the Redistricting pages on the State website.

State
House seat 31 and Senate Seat P
This area is bounded on the
south by Rabbit Creek (the actual creek, not the road) and DeArmoun Rd
and 104th. This is roughly the southern boundary of the Mid Hillside and
Hillside East CC's. The East boundary is Hillside Drive. The North boundary
is partly O'Malley Rd and partly neighborhoods just north of O'Malley.
Everything south of Tree Drive in Valli Vue and South of 104th is in this
area. The West boundary extends down into Oceanview.
State
House seat 30 and Senate Seat O
This area is north of House
Seat 31. It has most of the Valli Vue subdivision, the Springhill subdivision
and Ruth Arcand Park and Bicentennial Park. It's East boundary is Hillside
Drive and Nettleton at the top of Abbott.
State
House seat 32 and Senate P
This area sits to the east of seats 30 and 31 and to the south of 31.
This area appears to include all of the Hillside East Community Council
