PROGRAM: TAX CAP DEBATE and QUESTIONS Bob Bell with speak in
favor of the Tax Cap Donovan Rulien will speak in opposition to the Tax Cap

• Bob Bell representing Tax Cap Yes and Donovan Rullien with Alaskans United Against the Cap will be presenting both sides of the Tax Cap Initiative ballot question to be considered by Alaska voters in November. Bob Bell is a former Assembly representative for South Anchorage and Donovan Rullien is a principal with Kaiser, Whitlock and Rulien Accounting, LLC.
• The MOA Comprehensive Plan is currently under review, areas of specific interest in our neighborhoods are the commercial designation at Birch and O'Malley as well as the "Urban - Rural" delineation boundary. The current and proposed plan identify the Mid-Hillside and Hillside East Community Council areas as Rural.
• Other discussion issues include a rezone request for the O'Malley Fire Station from R-6 to PLI (comments due by October 27th ) and a proposed DigiTel cellular phone tower site at the Holy Spirit Church on Hillside and O'Malley.
