PROGRAM: “Hillside Road Improvements”
Diana Rigg, Transportation Planner, Anchorage

• Diana Rigg, DOT&PF Transportation Planner for Anchorage, will be presenting an overview of proposed hillside access road improvements to include schedule, public involvement and project manager contacts. Bring your questions and suggestions.
• Last month’s Workshop on Service Areas was well attended and very helpful. Maury Robinson, Kurt Hermes and Municipality Street Maintenance Director Vince Mee addressed the municipalities approach to road maintenance (centralized, with snow removal beginning in core areas and working outward). • We will also be hearing from area Assembly representatives Pat Abney and Dick Tremaine and teleconferencing with our area legislative delegation, Representative Con Bunde and Senator John Cowdery.
• A resolution supporting HB13, a measure supporting service areas will be up for consideration.
